This is not to be confused with the idea of the world going ka-blam! and poof, it's all over. The Mayans measured time differently than we do in the modern world. We see it in a linear fashion, extending outward into infinity. They saw it in terms of cycles. When one cycle ends another begins. And so it is with this prophetic date. It is thought to mark the end of one age and the beginning of another. However, it is not expected to be smooth sailing. The Mayans said each age ends in a cataclysmic event of one kind or another. And while much devastation is expected, it is not the end of the human race. We do survive. The intriguing thing is that the new age that is coming is thought to be an age of enlightenment and expanded consciousness.

My novel, The Ezekiel Code (www.ezekielcode.com) is a metaphysical/mystery/adventure/thriller with a 2012 theme. In the story there is something coming that would prevent the world from reaching 2012 and the chance to experience the great age of enlightenment would be lost forever. The responsibility of ensuring our entry into the new age falls on the shoulders of just one man. A perplexing code will lead him to an ancient artifact of profound importance to the success of his mission - if he can just figure it out in time. But the clock is ticking and there are some in high places who would like to see him fail as they have another agenda altogether.

The "mirror reflection of our own image" idea is a possibility. A friend of mine, Lui Di Martino, has done some fascinating work merging music theory and sacred geometry (particularly the inverted triangle "merkaba"/Star-of-David symbol) and has come up with what he calls "Music and Numbers Through the Looking Glass". Way to complicated to explain here but the point is his well-developed theory also has a significant relationship to the number 9, or the series of numbers 0 through 9 to be more precise. He has identified 4.5 (the middle of the series of 0 through 9) as a kind of "portal" to what he calls the "mirror side" of our reality. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense here without being able to see the full body of his work but suffice to say he can demonstrate this idea and it does bear out both mathematically and musically. While it really has no apparent connection to the 11:11 phenomenon it does, however, show yet another instance of the idea of a mirrored reality.

Interestingly, I found the alphanumerics produce some corresponding synchronistic support, especially considering that the note of F-sharp is at the center of his mirror theory and in this context he refers to F-sharp as a "tonal fountain" where the musical tones reverse themselves on the "other side". Here's an example of the alphanumeric results (using the serial code of A=1 through Z=26):

FOUR POINT FIVE = 176 = F SHARP IS THE MIDDLE

ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX IS THE VIBRATIONAL FREQUENCY OF FOUR POINT FIVE = 765

7+6+5 = 18, 1+8 = 9

765/4.5 = 170 = F SHARP IS THE KEY

FOUR POINT FIVE IS THE GATE = 270 = ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX

THE GATE IS LOCKED = 151 = JESUS CHRIST = ONE SEVEN SIX
THE GATE IS OPEN = 144 = NINE IS THE KEY = THE SECRET KEY = MULTIVERSE
1+4+4 = 9

THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA IS THE OPEN GATE = 378 = 18 = 9
THE GATE IS OPEN TO ALL WHO WOULD ENTER = 387 (387-378=9)
THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA IS THE MEASURE OF ALL = 423 = 9
THE GREAT PYRAMID IS THE OPEN GATE AND THE MEASURE OF ALL = 558 = 18 = 9
THE GREAT PYRAMID IS THE OPEN GATE OF THE MULTIVERSE = 576 = 18 = 9

The interesting thing about these phrases regarding the Great Pyramid is that the so-called "sarcophagus" in the "Kings Chamber" inside the pyramid resonates to the note of F-sharp when it is struck. Several researchers have concluded that the "sarcophagus" was never really intended to be a container to hold a dead body. So, given (1) that it literally resonates to the tonal vibration of F-sharp, (2) Di Martino's theory that the tonal frequency of F-sharp and the number 4.5 are somehow associated with a kind of "portal" between dimensions, and (3) that these alphanumeric phrases all seem to fit into the picture, it does raise the possibility that the sarcophagus may have been some sort of an initiation chamber, or possibly even a "transformation" chamber of some kind.

Or is it all just "coincidence"? Hardly seems so but I dunno. Whatcha think?
